Audio Recorder & Music Editor Pro App Reviews
This app works very well for recording streaming audio on my Macbook Pro. The audio capture controls are simple and intuitive, so not much effort is required to learn and begin recording effectively. The captured audio files can be saved in a wide variety of standard formats, and the audio quality of the resulting recordings sounds very good to my ears. On the downside, the post-capture audio editing features in this app are very limited. And it appears that audio files which have been edited using this app can only be saved in mp3 format, regardless of the format in which they were originally captured. I hope this limitation will be corrected in a future version. The user manual could use some improvement as well. Nevertheless, this is an inexpensive app that does an excellent job for its principal purpose: creating good quality recordings of streaming audio music content, podcasts, etc. (If you plan to do post-capture editing of the audio files, it would be best to subsequently import them into a separate full-featured audio editing program.)
it works and it is simple to use
I am finding some cuts in audio that it records but at this point I am not 100% sure if it is software or some copyright thing.
This app is easy to work with and make good recording. I was going to buy a new turntable to record my 45/33s but now I don’t have to! I find that there is one thing missing: recording level control. With such control you would not have to play with the line-in control in the system preferences. So far so good! Keep up the good work and please add the control!
This app works fine! its doing all that im expected of it. The only i see that this app can improve on is …You should be able to drag recording onto desk top or into another fil. Other than that this app works great! Try it! Thanks guys...
Don’t buy this. It doesn’t work as it leads you to believe. Once you;ve bought it, it tells you that you need to download and install another program to work. I was paying for a program that I thought would be simple and straight forward to use. Why should I have to download ANOTHER program or plugin when I paid money for THIS program to do that? I will be asking Apple to refund my money on this one.
As far as a tool for helping me learn a foreign language by recording audio files, this app is exactly what I’m looking for. It is easy to use, versatile, and very convenient, which allows me to focus on the learning and not on the construction of the foreign-language sound tracks. Downloading the free plugin/driver was a breeze. Thank you!

Works great until you try to stop recording, then it crashes and you lose what you just recorded. THIS APP IS NO GOOD
